Our client is one of the leading fabricators of PVCu windows, doors and conservatories in England.  From its bespoke manufacturing facilities the full range of products are manufactured to the very highest standards in the industry.

A recent position has opened up for an experienced Sales Manager to join the team and develop clients in the North.  All sales activity is Business to Business so a technical sales background will be a distinct advantage for this role.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Develop relationships with existing Door, Window and Conservatory installation businesses.
  • Secure new business and new clients by promoting all products.
  • Promote new product introductions in line with the long-term strategy of the business.
  • Achieve/exceed agreed sales targets for volume of new clients and volume of new business.
  • Identify and report back any market trends and competitor strategies to the business owners.
  • Accurately forecast future customer requirements and submit to the production team.
  • Understand and promote the quality of the products supplied and the importance of the high safety and security standards.

The type of person we are looking for:-

  • You will have previously operated as a Field sales person and be comfortable selling the technical aspects of the uPVC product range.
  • A proven track record of success selling Door’s, Windows and Conservatory products to businesses
  • Commercially astute and consultative approach to new business development
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Influencing skills and some experience of working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Real ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Self-motivated, Ambitious and entrepreneurial, with excellent team player skills.

The client is offering a good base salary with strong bonus earning potential based on growing business with existing clients as well as new ones.
